Atrangi Rai 🌟
Mental illness is regarded ill for others but it provides an inert level of satisfaction to the patient. An imagination which can never be reality but is enjoyed by the mind eyes felt and can be seen.
This Indian film is set in the village of Shiwan, Bihar wherein a girl loved a boy who is her imagination. She tried to elope with her imaginary boyfriend many a times, thus her mafia family forced her to marry. She is druged and forced to marry a Madrasi boy who is about to be married.
Will she discover her illness ? What will happen to their life ?
These thoughts keep audience attracted to the screen. The VFX used is quite remarkable and the choice of colours can be levelised to an intermediate level.
Acting by Dhanush was quite natural. He did fit in the picture of a confused, helping, humble, enraged, Madrasi Boy. He was a well character and also one of the protagonist in the movie. He was the one who was forced to marry the mentally ill girl.
Sara Ali Khan also played the best character of a village girl, active, hooligan, accent were all a better part of her acting. She did attract the audience with her gestures. She was the mentally ill girl.
Akshay Kumar |
Akshay Kumar can be marked as guest actor. He had no much role as well as not a heavy one. It was a general role and he did fructify it well. He was the imaginary boyfriend.
Ashish Verma |
Ashish Verma was quite remarkable in here. His acting made the audience laugh. The gestures were real and he was a better choice for a side actor. Kudos to him for this movie.
The story was quite vague as compared to today's factual generation. The reason for mental illness was given but it wasn't cleared as what particular illness it was, this was something pinched me as a rational audience.
Songs in the film were great and quite active and energetic. Overall a great performance by the team
Future Blessings ❤️🔆
